Accounts Executive (E-commerce)

**Position Overview**:The E-commerce Accountant is responsible for managing all financial aspects of the e-commerce business, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can handle various accounting tasks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the company's growth.**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Financial Management**
- Manage daily accounting operations, including booking turnover, expenses, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Ensure timely payments to stakeholders and maintain accurate financial records.

2. **Reporting and Reconciliation**
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure customer refunds are processed efficiently.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and explain variations to ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.

3. **Compliance and Audit Support**
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations (e.g., IFRS).
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits, supporting risk mitigation efforts.

4. **Inventory Accounting**
- Oversee inventory accounting responsibilities, maintaining accurate records for stock receipts and withdrawals.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation.

5. **Process Improvement**
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting operations.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

6. **Collaboration with Teams**
- Work closely with finance, operations, and compliance teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making across departments.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the e-commerce sector.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and accounting software (e.g., ERP systems).

**Skills**:

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Pay: ₹9,528.86 - ₹20,000.00 per month
