**Performing routine maintenance**: This includes tasks like cleaning, inspections, and preventative measures to maintain equipment and facilities in good working order. *
- **Troubleshooting and repairing equipment**: Maintenance technicians diagnose issues with machinery, plumbing, electrical systems, and other equipment, and perform repairs or coordinate with specialists when needed.

- **Implementing preventative maintenance programs**: Developing and executing schedules for routine maintenance to minimize the risk of breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment.

- **Maintaining facilities and grounds**: This may include tasks like landscaping, painting, and general upkeep to maintain a clean and safe environment.

- **Inspecting buildings and systems**: Regular inspections are conducted to identify potential issues, ensure compliance with safety standards, and prevent problems from escalating.
