**Job Description: Subject Matter Expert (Mathematics)**

**Key Responsibilities**:
Content Development: Create, review, and update educational content, lesson plans, quizzes, and assessments in Mathematics for various grade levels.

Curriculum Design: Collaborate with instructional designers to develop curricula that align with educational standards and best practices in mathematics education.

Assessment Creation: Design and develop formative and summative assessments to evaluate students' understanding of key mathematical concepts.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all educational materials are accurate, engaging, and aligned with the latest curriculum guidelines and standards (e.g., Common Core, CBSE, etc.).

Teacher Support: Work closely with teachers and educators to provide guidance on effective teaching strategies and the use of instructional materials.

Research and Trends: Stay updated with the latest educational trends, teaching methodologies, and technological advancements in mathematics education, integrating them into the content.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between content creators, educators, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth development and delivery of educational content.

Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from educators, students, and stakeholders to improve content quality and enhance the overall learning experience.

**Required Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.

Strong knowledge and understanding of Mathematics concepts across multiple grade levels (K-12 or higher education).

Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience or experience in developing educational content in Mathematics.

Familiarity with various educational standards (e.g., Common Core, CBSE, ICSE) and the ability to create content that aligns with these standards.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.

Experience in e-learning or EdTech, particularly in creating digital content, assessments, or instructional videos.

Familiarity with educational technologies, including learning management systems (LMS) and online platforms.

Experience working with diverse learners and differentiated instruction.

Passionate about mathematics education and content development.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Proactive and self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
