**Job Description (JD) for Site Supervisor - 100-Bed Hospital, Nagothane, Raigad**

**Position Overview**:
The Site Supervisor will oversee and manage the interior work phase of a 100-bed hospital project in Nagothane, Raigad. With RCC work already completed, the supervisor will ensure timely and quality execution of tasks such as slab installation, flooring, windows, painting, electrical fitting, plumbing, and other interior work. This role requires hands-on supervision, coordination with contractors, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

**Key Responsibilities (JD)**:
1. Project Supervision:

- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work progress aligns with the project schedule.
- Manage on-site labor and subcontractors, ensuring proper execution of tasks such as flooring, window installation, painting, electrical, and plumbing.

2. Quality Control:

- Inspect materials and workmanship at each stage to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
- Report deviations or defects and take corrective action immediately.

3. Coordination:

- Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth communication and execution.
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials, ensuring availability as per the schedule.

4. Health and Safety:

- Ensure that safety protocols and guidelines are strictly followed at the site.
- Conduct safety briefings and monitor the use of PPE among workers.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain daily work logs, progress reports, and material inventory records.
- Report project updates, challenges, and solutions to the Project Manager.

6. Cost and Resource Management:

- Monitor material usage to prevent wastage and control project costs.
- Ensure efficient allocation of manpower and resources to meet project deadlines.

7. Issue Resolution:

- Address and resolve site-related issues, including contractor disputes, material shortages, or unforeseen challenges.

**Key Result Areas (KRA)**:
1. Project Progress:

- Completion of slab, flooring, window installation, painting, electrical fitting, and plumbing tasks within the defined timeline.

2. Quality Standards:

- Maintain high standards in workmanship and material quality, meeting the specifications outlined in the project plan.

3. Budget Adherence:

- Ensure cost control by minimizing material wastage and optimizing resource utilization.

4. Safety Compliance:

- Zero accidents or safety violations reported on-site due to proactive safety management.

5. Documentation Accuracy:

- Timely submission of daily logs, progress reports, and inventory records with accurate data.

6. Stakeholder Coordination:

- Seamless coordination between contractors, suppliers, and management, minimizing delays or conflicts.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor, preferably in hospital or commercial building projects.

Hands-on experience in interior works, including flooring, plumbing, electrical fittings, and painting.

**Skills Required**:
Strong knowledge of construction techniques and interior finishing.

Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
