**Location**:Arokya Hospital, Salem.

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Interpret Diagnostic Imaging**:

- Analyze and interpret medical images such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds to diagnose diseases, conditions, and injuries.
- Provide clear and concise reports to referring physicians and healthcare teams.
- **Perform Image-guided Procedures**:

- Conduct image-guided biopsies, drainage procedures, and other interventional radiology services, if applicable.
- Ensure that procedures are performed with mínimal risk and optimal results.
- **Consultation and Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other medical professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Provide expert advice on the selection of appropriate imaging techniques and interpretation of results.
- **Patient Care**:

- Ensure patient safety during imaging procedures, explaining the procedure and addressing concerns.
- Review medical histories to determine the best imaging techniques and anticipate any potential complications.
- **Radiological Equipment Maintenance**:

- Oversee the proper use of imaging equipment, ensuring it meets safety standards.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and assist in troubleshooting any equipment-related issues.
- **Continuing Education and Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with advancements in radiology techniques, technologies, and best practices.
- Participate in conferences, workshops, and other educational opportunities to maintain certification and enhance expertise.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, health and safety regulations, and radiological standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
- **Supervision and Training**:

- Supervise and mentor junior radiologists, radiology residents, and medical students as needed.
- Contribute to teaching and training programs for radiology staff.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of Radiology residency program (minimum of 4 years).
- Fellowship training in a specialized area (e.g., pediatric radiology, interventional radiology) is a plus.
- **Licenses and Certifications**:

- Board certification in Radiology (e.g., American Board of Radiology or equivalent).
- State medical license or equivalent.
- Additional certifications in specialized imaging techniques (e.g., MRI, CT) are preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience in diagnostic radiology, including interpretation of a wide range of imaging modalities.
- Experience in interventional radiology or other subspecialties is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Expertise in interpreting diagnostic images with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced clinical environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹31,454.45 - ₹100,000.00 per month
