**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:

- **Jewellery Craftsmanship**:

- Create high-quality jewellery pieces using various metals and techniques, ensuring precision and durability.
- Work with gold, silver, and other precious metals to cast, mold, and shape jewellery pieces according to design specifications.
- Perform finishing techniques such as polishing, engraving, and setting stones to enhance the appearance and quality of jewellery.
- **Metalworking and Repairs**:

- Repair and restore damaged jewellery, including resizing rings, replacing clasps, and resetting stones.
- Utilize metalworking techniques such as soldering, welding, and casting to achieve the desired finish.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure efficiency and precision in craftsmanship.
- **Quality Control**:

- Conduct quality checks on completed pieces to ensure they meet brand standards for durability, appearance, and functionality.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and design teams to address any production issues and improve processes.
- Implement corrective measures for any flaws or discrepancies identified during quality checks.
- **Collaboration with Design and Production Teams**:

- Work closely with jewellery designers to bring design concepts to life and address any technical limitations.
- Provide feedback to designers regarding material suitability, production feasibility, and quality improvements.
- Participate in prototype development and make adjustments to refine designs before mass production.
- **Tool and Equipment Maintenance**:

- Regularly inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure safety, efficiency, and longevity.
- Ensure the workspace is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- **Record-Keeping and Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and completed pieces.
- Assist in managing inventory for metals, gemstones, and other materials needed for jewellery production.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: Certification or diploma in metalworking, jewellery design, or a related field preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years in jewellery craftsmanship, with strong skills in metalworking and repair.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in using metalworking tools and equipment; knowledge of jewellery-making techniques.
- **Personal Attributes**: Detail-oriented, skilled in precision work, and able to work under mínimal supervision.
