**Job Summary**:The Production QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that wood products manufactured on the production line meet internal quality standards and customer specifications. The role focuses on identifying defects, monitoring processes, and ensuring consistent quality throughout each stage of production — from raw material input to finished product.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect wood products at various stages of production for defects, measurements, surface finish, and structural integrity.
- Monitor compliance with company standards, drawings, and customer requirements.
- Conduct regular quality checks during cutting, planing, joining, assembling, sanding, and finishing processes.
- Record and report quality data (e.g. dimensions, moisture content, defects) for statistical and compliance purposes.
- Identify non-conforming products and initiate corrective actions or rework procedures.
- Work closely with production operators and supervisors to address quality issues immediately.
- Ensure proper use of tools and measurement devices (e.g. calipers, rulers, gauges, moisture meters).
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the inspection area, ensuring use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
- Participate in root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in training production staff on quality standards and procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation and tagging of rejected items or rework.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or technical certificate; vocational training in wood processing or manufacturing is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in quality control within a wood or furniture manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of wood properties, quality defects, and production methods.
- Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement techniques.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently under mínimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, data entry systems).
- Good communication skills and teamwork mentality.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
