**Job Purpose**

The Purpose of the position is to assist and support the senior faculty in the functioning of the departmental activities and also carry out departmental work.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 4 years of teaching experience as per DCI norms

**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Academics**
- To Assist Professor/ HOD in planning and implementation of teaching/ Lectures for UG and PG programmes
- To assist in planning internal examinations, tests (sessional and terminals) for UG and PG students
- Preparation of reports on students progress.
- To guide PG students

**OPD Management**
- To monitor lab/ preclinical and clinical work of UG and PG students
- To participate in camps, satellite duty as assigned by HOD
- To treat patients in OPD
- To monitor timely completion of patient treatment being attended by Under Graduate and Post Graduate students
- To monitor Patients grievance and to escalate them to professor or HOD
- To guide Interns for clinical work in their departmental posting

**Support in Research**
- Take up research project work in research center in consultation with department head
- Take up research project work within the department, interdepartmental or at research Centre.

**Others**
- Taking charge of various departmental responsibilities like Orion software/ Department Library/ OPD Incharge/ Student Mentor and to perform duty as Store/Maintenance/ Sterilization Incharge as assigned by HOD
- Guiding student’s extracurricular activities
- Participates and promotes student welfare activities
- To monitor the consumption of materials and prepare reports
- To generate daily and monthly reports through Orion
- Assist HOD or Professor in conducting seminars, workshops, guest lectures
- Mentor UG students
- Undertake other duties assigned by the Head of Department** Responsibilities**

**THE COLLEGE**

ITS Dental College, Hospital & Research Centre is situated in an Institutional Area (Knowledge Park III) of Greater Noida, U.P. This is a District Head Quarter about 25 km. from New Delhi and is located in the National Capital Region (NCR).
