Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Set up CNC machines (lathe, milling, turning, etc.) according to job specifications and engineering drawings.
- Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and machine parameters.
- Perform test runs and first-off inspections to verify accuracy.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with CNC operators and programmers to troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and production protocols.
- Document setup procedures and maintain accurate records.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Setter in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming basics.
- Familiarity with various CNC machines (Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, etc.).
- Knowledge of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

**Education**:

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field
