About the Role:
We are looking for a meticulous and enthusiastic Junior Editor to join our editorial team and help us publish stellar content in our HR-focused, monthly eMagazines

Key Accountabilities:

- Collect and analyze specialized data and translate it into copy that HR Professionals can understand
- Edit products so that they are clear, concise, accurate and meaningful to our readers
- Manage multiple reports with overlapping deadlines simultaneously
- Be able to revise and even rewrite copy as necessary to ensure quality reports
- Work with clients to ensure that sponsored research reports meet their needs
- Ensure that research is cited correctly, and confer with authors regarding changes in style, content, and organization
- Evaluate the technical and grammatical accuracy of research work
- Fact-check articles to ensure that technical or specialized information is presented accurately and verify that the sources used are appropriate
- Provide specific, concrete, and timely feedback on reports to ensure consistency in style and clarity of writing
- Develop mastery of all report templates and styles for various industries, clients, and report types
- Complete editing of reports of all levels of complexity
- Demonstrate commitment to integrity and thoroughness of research, writing, and editing
- Show commitment to teamwork and innovation in working toward high quality products on short deadlines
- Work with specific research-and-editing tools
- Maximize the use of technology and tools to streamline and organize your work
- Engage in other editing tasks including proofreading and designing layouts
- Be responsible for detecting and correcting errors in spelling, grammar, and word usage.
- Be aware of new developments in their field and demonstrate good judgment in developing story ideas and determining the placement of research findings

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

- Experience with all four types of editing; copy edits, substantive edits, proofreading, and developmental edits
- Excellent writing skills
- Experience with editing various types and styles of written work, especially data-driven work
- Familiarity with the HR profession in general and the HR solutions landscape
- Ability to manage and prioritize several projects and assignments simultaneously
- Rigorous attention to detail
- Superior teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills
- Superior comprehension, analytical abilities, and logical deductive skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational and time management competency
- Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
