Welder/fabricator

**Job Title: Welder / Fitter / Fabricator**

**Location**: KNS Air System Pvt. Ltd.,

**Reporting To**: Production Manager / Maintenance Head
**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**1. Welder - Key Responsibilities**
- Perform MIG/TIG/Arc welding as per HVAC fabrication standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Ensure joints meet structural and design requirements.
- Conduct quality checks on welds and report defects.
- Operate welding tools safely and maintain cleanliness in the work area.

**Requirements**:

- ITI / Diploma in Welding or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC or metal fabrication industry.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in welding.

**2. Fitter - Key Responsibilities**
- Assemble, install, and fit components based on HVAC duct and unit drawings.
- Handle sheet metal fitting and HVAC unit structure assembly.
- Use hand and power tools for alignment and adjustment.
- Perform pre-assembly and post-assembly checks.

**Requirements**:

- ITI / Diploma in Fitting / Mechanical trade.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in industrial or HVAC setups.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and layout diagrams.

**3. Maintenance Technician - Key Responsibilities**
- Perform routine and breakdown maintenance of HVAC systems, machinery, and utilities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic issues.
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and service logs.
- Coordinate with the production team for equipment availability.

**Requirements**:

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Maintenance.
- 2-5 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
- Hands-on knowledge of HVAC system components preferred.

**4. Fabricator - Key Responsibilities**
- Fabricate metal components for ducting, air handling units (AHUs), and structural frames.
- Operate cutting machines, shears, and press brakes as per designs.
- Ensure measurements and fabrication are accurate to drawing.
- Work closely with welders and fitters for final assembly.

**Requirements**:

- ITI / Diploma in Fabrication / Mechanical trade.
- Prior experience in HVAC or sheet metal industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of layout marking, shearing, bending, and machine operation.

**General Skills Required for All Positions**
- Ability to follow technical instructions and safety protocols.
- Teamwork and coordination with production and design teams.
- Willingness to work in shifts (if required).
- Physically fit and punctual.
