**Role Overview**

We’re seeking a **multi-skilled, in-house documentary filmmaker** to lead the **entire journey of nonfiction storytelling**— from research and writing, to directing, cinematography, editing, and post-production.

The content will be produced primarily in **English**, tailored for a discerning global audience across **YouTube and digital platforms**. This isn’t a role for content churners — it’s for **true storytellers** who think in shots, speak in stories, and dream in edits.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop original documentary concepts and storyboards in alignment with MH Films’ creative vision
- Conduct in-depth research and script narrative-driven, factual content
- Direct shoots, manage interviews, capture powerful visuals and B-roll
- Handle cinematography using professional camera setups
- Edit full projects including color grading, sound mixing, motion graphics, and final mastering
- Own and manage the **entire post-production process**:

- Deliver high-quality, YouTube-ready films that meet global technical and storytelling standards
- Collaborate with internal creative teams and adapt feedback constructively
- Stay ahead of trends in digital storytelling, YouTube formats, and visual journalism

**What We’re Looking For**
- Diploma or Degree in **Filmmaking** from a reputed institute (any specialization)
- Strong exposure to **world cinema, festival films, and various storytelling styles**:

- Mastery in at least **one core domain**: directing, cinematography, editing, or screenwriting
- Solid understanding of the **entire filmmaking process**, from ideation to delivery
- Proven experience in producing **documentaries or nonfiction films**:

- Proficiency with industry-standard tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, etc.
- Strong command over **spoken and written English**:

- Ability to work **independently and end-to-end** on multiple projects
- A cinematic eye and storytelling sensibility with attention to structure, emotion, and pacing

**Nice to Have**
- Experience managing or creating for a **YouTube channel**:

- Skills in **sound design, motion graphics, or basic animation**:

- Understanding of **current trends** in nonfiction, YouTube formats, and platform storytelling
- Interest in **social, cultural, historical, or investigative** themes
