**Job Summary**:
The QC Microbiologist is responsible for ensuring that all microbiological activities, including sampling, testing, and analysis, comply with regulatory standards and company policies. The role involves monitoring and maintaining the microbiological quality of products, raw materials, and the manufacturing environment to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and water to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform environmental monitoring of production and cleanroom areas, including air sampling, surface swabs, and personnel monitoring.
- Identify, isolate, and classify microorganisms using microbiological techniques such as streaking, gram staining, and culturing.
- Review and analyze test data to identify trends and potential issues, and escalate findings as necessary.
- Maintain and calibrate microbiological equipment such as autoclaves, incubators, and laminar airflow hoods.
- Prepare, document, and maintain records of test procedures, results, and trends in accordance with GMP and ISO standards.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to microbiological testing and quality control.
- Ensure timely communication and reporting of deviations, non-conformances, and test failures to relevant departments.
- Participate in internal and external audits and provide microbiology-related documentation as needed.
- Stay updated on new microbiological testing methods, technologies, and regulatory requirements.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in microbiological techniques such as microbial limit tests, sterility tests, and endotoxin testing.
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and regulatory standards (FDA, ISO, ICH guidelines).
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹12,086.00 - ₹45,716.50 per month
