Position : Purchase Executive

A **Purchase Executive** in the **Wastewater Treatment Industry** plays a crucial role in procurement, vendor management, and ensuring timely availability of materials for projects.

**Job Roles & Responsibilities**:
**1. Procurement & Sourcing**:

- Identify and source materials, equipment, and spare parts required for wastewater treatment plants.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers.
- Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Evaluate quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize contracts with suppliers.

**2. Vendor Management**:

- Assess vendor performance based on quality, price, and delivery timelines.
- Onboard new suppliers and maintain an updated vendor database.
- Handle supplier audits to ensure adherence to regulatory and company policies.

**3. Inventory & Supply Chain Management**:

- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical materials.
- Work closely with store and project teams to avoid material shortages or excess stock.
- Optimize procurement processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

**4. Compliance & Documentation**:

- Ensure all purchases comply with environmental and wastewater treatment regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
- Coordinate with finance and accounts departments for payments and budget management.

**5. Coordination with Internal Teams**:

- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and operations teams to understand material requirements.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation of procured materials to project sites.
- Resolve any procurement-related issues that may affect project timelines.

**6. Cost Control & Budgeting**:

- Monitor and control procurement budgets to prevent overspending.
- Analyze market trends to forecast material price fluctuations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
