Background

The Product Owner role is responsible for strategizing the product roadmap of Marketing automation & recommendation engines for Unilever’s B2B platforms. The company has undertaken an innovative approach to B2B and is currently growing new platforms and scalable products based on insights from 4 years of B2B growth. These products include Magento-based B2B apps, PWAs and websites, Data & Analytics visualizations, and digital marketing products. Marketing automation team and recommendation engine product teams are part of the product organization, and this position requires end-to-end management from ideation to delivery.

This position involves extensive interaction with cross functional teams and external vendors. The person holding this position is expected to understand advanced practices of digital marketing, emerging customer data tools, personalisation tactics and how these translate into customer acquisition, retention and loyalty. The Product Owner will align closely with market PO’s and internal teams for feature prioritization and delivery management.

This role requires coordination and alignment with Product Managers, Data & Analytics, IT, global markets, engineers and external partners to produce a common and agreed-upon product roadmap that includes new features, CR’s, and any product enhancements.

Job Scope
- Define the overall strategy, product roadmap and implementation of Marketing Automation to achieve a best-in-class digital marketing product for our UL B2B products (apps, PWA)
- Set up the back-end architecture and analytics like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Big Query etc. to have a seamless deployment and tracking
- Define the strategy, product roadmap and implementation of Recommendation Engine to achieve the best customer experience and conversions through driving relevance, personalisation and simplification for the customer
- Manage planning with internal and external technical partners; collaborate and design strategic partnerships with external vendors to drive long term and short-term objectives
- Defining end-to-end process for the products from ideation to implementation and set up robust success metrics to track & pivot
- Defining the long-term vision for the products while driving the day-to-day activities
- Collaboration with CX Hubs and insighting teams wherever necessary, to embed the tools in markets
- Own the adoption of the products and relevant tools by constantly engaging with the markets
- Gather insight from NPS and customer feedback as well as data and analytics to support decision making

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of relevant product/digital marketing experience in fast-growing eCommerce companies
- Strong Project management skills
- Good understanding of Google analytics suite and other analytics platforms
- Working knowledge of Google Big Query capabilities and integrations
- Working knowledge of CDP and emerging technologies in this space
- Advanced knowledge of digital marketing deployment techniques and reporting practices
- Advanced knowledge of performance media metrics
- Experience working with marketing automation software at scale
- Experience in building recommendation tools for e-commerce platforms
- Experience with JIRA and maintaining a roadmap is a plus
- Excel and Power point ninja
