**Job Title: Comic Illustration Artist**

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a talented and creative Illustration Artist specializing in comics to join our team. As a Comic Illustration Artist, you will be responsible for bringing characters, environments, and stories to life through your artistic vision and skillful execution. You will collaborate closely with writers, editors, and other team members to ensure that the visual elements of our comics align with the narrative and meet the expectations of our audience.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Character Design**: Create compelling and visually appealing characters that resonate with the target audience and effectively convey their personalities and emotions.
- **Storyboarding**: Translate script outlines into dynamic and engaging visual sequences, ensuring clarity and flow in storytelling.
- **Page Layout**: Design page layouts that enhance the pacing and impact of the narrative, considering factors such as panel composition, perspective, and visual hierarchy.
- **Illustration**: Produce high-quality illustrations using various techniques, including digital painting, inking, and coloring, to achieve the desired artistic style and mood.
- **Background Art**: Develop detailed and immersive environments that enrich the storytelling experience and complement the narrative themes.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with writers, editors, and other team members to refine concepts, incorporate feedback, and maintain consistency in visual elements throughout the comic.
- **Deadline Management**: Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliver artwork according to established schedules.
- **Research and Development**: Stay updated on industry trends, artistic techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance your skills and contribute fresh ideas to our projects.
- **Communication**: Clearly communicate ideas, concepts, and artistic choices to team members and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives and creative vision.

**Requirements**:

- **Proficiency in Illustration Software**: Expertise in digital illustration software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Procreate, with a strong understanding of digital art techniques and workflows.
- **Artistic Skill**: Exceptional drawing and rendering skills, with a keen eye for detail, anatomy, perspective, and composition.
- **Creativity and Imagination**: Ability to generate original ideas and concepts, as well as adapt existing material into visually compelling artwork.
- **Storyboarding and Layout Skills**: Experience in storyboarding and designing page layouts to effectively convey narrative beats and visual storytelling.
- **Collaborative Spirit**: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, receptive to feedback and willing to iterate on designs to achieve the best results.
- **Portfolio**: A portfolio showcasing a range of comic illustrations and character designs that demonstrate your artistic style, technical proficiency, and storytelling abilities.
- **Passion for Comics**: Genuine enthusiasm for the medium of comics, with a deep appreciation for its history, diverse genres, and storytelling potential.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- **Experience in Comic Industry**: Prior experience working as a comic book artist or illustrator, with a published portfolio of work in the comic book industry.
- **Versatility**: Ability to adapt artistic style to suit different genres, tones, and visual aesthetics, demonstrating versatility and flexibility in artistic expression.
- **Knowledge of Narrative Structure**: Familiarity with narrative techniques and storytelling principles, with the ability to translate written scripts into visually engaging comic panels.
- **Education**: A degree or equivalent qualification in illustration, fine arts, graphic design, or a related field is desirable but not required.

**Salary**: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
