General Labourer

Laundry Worker is responsible for cleaning, drying, and folding linens, garments, and other fabrics in a professional setting. They ensure items are handled with care, stains are treated effectively, and equipment is maintained. Duties include washing, drying, sorting, folding, pressing, and mending clothes and linens. Key Responsibilities:

- **Washing and Drying**:Operate washing machines and dryers, adjusting settings and detergent as needed to ensure proper cleaning.
- **Sorting and Folding**:Sort and separate clothes and linens by color, fabric type, and washing instructions, then fold items neatly.
- **Ironing and Pressing**:Use ironing equipment to remove wrinkles from fabrics.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:Report any malfunctioning equipment to the maintenance department and perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning machines and emptying lint traps.
- **Inventory Management**:Keep track of inventory levels for laundry supplies and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed.
- **Cleaning and Organization**:Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines.
- **Customer Service**:Assist with guest requests for laundry services and provide information on laundry procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:

- **Pre-treating stains**: Treat heavily stained items before washing to ensure thorough cleaning.
- **Quality control**: Inspect laundered items for quality, identifying and addressing any issues or damages.
- **Safety protocols**: Adhere to health and safety protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals.
- **Other duties as assigned**: Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
