Mandatory Skillset

Medical Practitioner with 5 - 6 years of relevant experience in an Occupational Health setup with a minimum qualification of MBBS and AFIH.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize & control overall Occupational Health Centre (OHC) to monitor the wellbeing of employees, occupational health & handling of all health illness, emergency accident cases.
- Health Surveillance for all through regular periodical medical checkups for early detection of occupational disease, and to prevent organ damage by detecting chronic Illnesses and treating them in time.
- Ensure the best clinical outcome at competitive cost, and assist in early return to work and rehabilitation.
- To improve employees health by reducing time off from work employees take due to illness, injury or sickness.
- To maintain all documents concerning IMS for Health department as a statutory requirement
- To follow the culture of WCM in the department for improving the service quality.
- Implement the requirements of Medical Officer as per the Factories Act U/s. 40B. Medical Officers, and Karnataka Factory Rules 1969.
- Routine Medical Services ( OPD ) for Employees and Family Members.
- General Medical Care for the Health of Employees and Family Members staying in the township.
- Advising the workmen as well as the organization for wellbeing of all Staff and workmen.
- Pre-Employment Medical for Employees.
- Conducting CPR and First Aid Trainings for the Employees.
- Conducting industrial hygiene studies (noise, dust, illumination and heat stress) within Belagavi Works to monitor the quality of work environment, and advise & recommend measures to prevent work place related health hazards.
- Improve upon the Health Index figures, continuously and progress towards bench marks, by implementing periodical Health checks, Health counselling, disease awareness lectures, and communication through electronic media.
- Implement OHSAS 18000, responsible for the implementation of health and safety management system its conformance with the standard.
- Immunization, de-addiction & motivate life style changes

**Qualifications**:
MBBS

**Minimum Experience Level**:
5-6 Years
