**Cleaning & Maintenance**:

- Clean and sanitize rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas regularly.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other laundry items in the rooms on a scheduled basis.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, and dust furniture and fixtures.
- Ensure that waste is disposed of correctly, and recycling bins are emptied.
- **Stock Management**:

- Monitor and report the stock of cleaning supplies and toiletries.
- Ensure that cleaning supplies are well-maintained and replenished as needed.
- Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment or furniture to the hostel management.
- **Safety & Hygiene**:

- Ensure that all cleaning tasks are performed in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain proper hygiene levels across all areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, and dining areas.
- Ensure that safety protocols are followed when handling cleaning chemicals or equipment.
- **Laundry Services**:

- Wash, dry, and iron bed linen, towels, and other hostel-related laundry items as required.
- Ensure laundry items are neatly folded, and distributed to the correct rooms or areas.
- **Common Area Maintenance**:

- Ensure common areas (e.g., lounges, study areas, dining rooms) are clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Set up and clean areas used for hostel events, meetings, or recreational activities.
- Make sure kitchen areas are cleaned after every use, ensuring proper hygiene standards are maintained.
- **Guest/Resident Relations**:

- Respond to residents’ housekeeping requests in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with hostel residents and guests.
- Assist in ensuring that residents are satisfied with their living conditions.
- **Inventory & Reporting**:

- Assist in keeping track of the inventory of cleaning materials and other supplies.
- Report any issues regarding cleanliness or maintenance to the hostel management or warden.
- Ensure proper organization of cleaning tools and supplies.
