**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms and public areas are cleaned according to the resort’s standards.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to the resort's quality standards.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing training to current staff to maintain a high level of performance and customer service.
- Schedule housekeeping staff shifts and manage time-off requests to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections and performance evaluations of housekeeping staff.
- Handle guest complaints and special requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of housekeeping equipment and supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, and place orders as needed.
- Assist with cleaning duties as needed, particularly during peak periods or staff shortages.
- Prepare and submit reports on housekeeping activities, including room status, maintenance issues, and inventory levels.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping.
