
Accounting Assistant

**Job Summary**
The Accounting Assistant is a crucial member of the Finance and Accounting Team supporting the function with billing, invoicing, reconciliation and other assigned tasks.
**Job Location: It's a remote job. You can work from anywhere in India.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Keep track and process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data
- Preparation of sales invoices and sending it to clients
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
- Facilitate swift payment of invoices due to the organization by sending bill reminders and contacting clients with outstanding accounts
- Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Client management
**Mandatory Skills**:
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting or Equivalent.
- At least 1 year of relevant Accounting experience
- Fluent English communication skills
- Excellent Client communication skills
- Good Team Player
- Highly motivated & self-driven with a proven ability to perform multi-tasking
- Achieving assigned Deadlines
- Never give up attitude
- Excellent attention to detail
**Education/Experience**:
- Minimum commerce graduate
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
