**DESCRIPTION**
Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with direct guidance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)**:
- Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.
- Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.
- Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Promote interdependence by looking out for one another.
- Correct hazards within your control and capabilities.
- Recognize how your work may impact the environment and work to minimize the negative impact.
- Engage in HSE Training.
**Quality**:
- Follow all applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.
- Raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.
- Perform quality inspections.
- Identify and control non-conforming material.
**Delivery**:
- Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.
- Achieve production goals.
- Work at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks.
- Perform planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
- Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals.
- Work with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.
**Teamwork**:
- Communicate effectively with the assigned team and all support teams.
- Complete training and personal development in line with business requirements.
- Participate actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
**Daily Responsibilities**:
- Operate machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with direct guidance.
- Work on a weekly shift rotational basis:
- Shift A: 6:00am to 2:00pm
- Shift B: 2:00pm to 10:00pm
- Shift C: 10:00pm to 6:00am

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automobile Engineering.
- Welding process certified education is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
