Job Description: Farming Land Supervisor (BSC. Agriculture)

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual with a BSC. Agriculture degree to join our team as a Farming Land Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for both freshers and individuals with up to 1 year of experience to gain hands-on experience in managing and supervising farming operations.

**Responsibilities**:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the farming land in Salem, Vallapady.

Ensure compliance with agricultural best practices, environmental regulations, and safety standards.

Supervise a team of farm workers and provide guidance and support as needed.

Develop and implement plans for planting, cultivation, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control.

Monitor crop growth, identify potential issues or diseases, and take appropriate actions to maintain crop health and yield.

Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, such as agricultural experts, suppliers, and vendors, to optimize farm operations.

Maintain accurate records of crop yields, expenses, and production activities.

Conduct regular inspections of the farm infrastructure, machinery, and equipment to ensure proper maintenance and functionality.

Stay up to date with advancements in agricultural practices and technologies and recommend improvements or modifications accordingly.

Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving productivity and profitability.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (BSC.) in Agriculture or a related field.

Freshers or individuals with up to 1 year of experience in agriculture are encouraged to apply.

Strong knowledge of agricultural principles, techniques, and best practices.

Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Good understanding of crop management, irrigation systems, fertilization methods, and pest control.

Proficiency in using agricultural machinery and equipment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as in a team.

Familiarity with the agricultural landscape of Salem, Vallapady is preferred.
