**Job description**:
SAML SSO Expert

**Responsibilities**:

- Integrate SAML SSO with Identity Providers (IdPs) and Service Providers (SPs) in various environments.
- Manage and configure Identity Providers, ensuring they meet security standards and organizational requirements.
- Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) and other security enhancements where applicable.
- Configure and manage SAML metadata for Identity Providers and Service Providers.
- Monitor SSO infrastructure and log activities to identify and address potential security threats or performance issues.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in SAML SSO technology and related security practices.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a SAML (SSO) Expert or similar role, with a track record of successful SSO implementations.
- Strong understanding of SAML protocol and its components (assertions, bindings, metadata, etc.).
- Experience working with popular Identity Providers (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, PingFederate) and Service Providers.
- Knowledge of security best practices related to authentication and authorization.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving SSO-related issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

**Preferred**:

- Certification(s) related to SAML and SSO (e.g., SSCP, CISSP, SAML Advanced, etc.).
- Experience with SAML SSO in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Understanding of other authentication protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Knowledge of federated identity standards (e.g., WS-Federation).

**Must have skills**
- Strong understanding of SAML protocol and its components (assertions, bindings, metadata, etc.).
- Experience working with popular Identity Providers (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, PingFederate) and Service Providers.
