**Key Responsibilities**
- **Conduct Surveys**: Perform detailed surveys of sites to assess conditions for electrical line installations, including land topography, existing structures, and potential obstacles.
- **Data Collection**: Gather and record accurate measurements and data using specialized surveying equipment and software.
- **Site Analysis**: Evaluate site conditions and environmental factors to determine the best placement for electrical lines and equipment.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all surveying activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and safety protocols.
- **Report Preparation**: Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation of survey findings, including maps, diagrams, and written summaries.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with engineers, planners, and other stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations for electrical line projects.
- **Problem-Solving**: Identify and address potential issues or challenges encountered during the surveying process and propose effective solutions.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments and tools to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- **Site Visits**: Perform regular site visits to monitor progress and verify that electrical line installations adhere to survey specifications.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- **Experience**: 3 to 4 Years of Proven experience as a surveyor, with specific expertise in electrical line projects preferred.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in using surveying equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS, drones) and software (e.g., CAD, GIS).
- **Knowledge**: Strong understanding of electrical systems, infrastructure planning, and relevant regulations.
- **Attention to Detail**: Exceptional accuracy in data collection and analysis.

**Working Conditions**
- **Field Work**: Significant time spent outdoors, sometimes in adverse weather conditions.
- **Travel**: Potential for travel to different sites, sometimes requiring overnight stays.
- **Safety**: Adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
