Job Title: Data Entry Coordinator, Image Management

Department: Imaging Services

Reports to: Refer to current version of Organizational Chart.

Positions Supervised: Refer to current version of Organizational Chart.

Job Purpose/Summary:
Responsible for the management of clinical imaging data (e.g. PET, SPECT, CT, MRI) for clinical

research trials, including; receipt, review, reconciliation, and transfer of data coming from

research centers worldwide. Also responsible for general project coordination including data

entry and tracking. This position is critical to establishing and maintaining data integrity. Tasks

include controlling and moving data through a quality assurance program while tracking issues,

performing data reconciliation, and communicating with both internal and external personal as

part of that process.

Major Responsibilities:

- Process focused for ensuring efficient follow-through of internal procedures
- Data entry within key electronic systems

events
- Reconciliation of internal database entries against client and clinical CRO database exports;
escalating and resolving identified discrepancies
- Communication with internal project teams and external research centers
- Review and maintenance of (image) data files
- Electronic transfer of large image-based data such as PET, SPECT, MRI, CT files between

remote sites
- Troubleshooting; support for remote centers participating in trials
- Resolve transfer errors and permission access privileges
- Transcription of data between operating systems and archive media
- Ensure adherence to study timelines are met
- Ensure adherence to image format protocol / guidelines
- May support quality control (QC) activities during standard IST allowing for increased

workflow speed and reduce overall turnaround times
- Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by supervisor

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree required, experience in clinical research, computer-related field, or

general life sciences preferred
- Possess strong administrative skills including written and verbal skills for effectively

communicating with departmental staff and remote research centers,
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. comparing/merging documents, tracking changes),
- Be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills,
