We are looking for a Biomedicine Analyst to join our Systems Biology team in India (Chennai or Hyderabad). This is an amazing opportunity to work on MetaBase database supporting several products and services across Clarivate. The team consists of 15 people across Chennai, Hyderabad, and Spain and this role reports to the Systems Biology Team Manager. We have a great skill set in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, toxicology, and pharmacology, with complementary skill sets to address challenges in biomarker discovery, target identification, drug repositioning, and network biology. We would love to speak with you if you have skills in biomedicine and biomarkers.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Degree in Biomedicine, Biology, or Life Sciences.
- Basic knowledge of human pathology.
- Good scientific research and analytical skills, with attention to detail. High ability to interpret and explain large amounts of data.
- General computer proficiency (MS Office) and ability to quickly learn new software tools.
- Proficient in English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

It would be great if you also had...
- MSc and/or Post-graduate laboratory research experience in Biomedicine/Molecular Biology/Cell Biology would be highly desirable.
- Experience with pathway and network analyses.
- Experience in databases and relationship models.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team of diverse collaborators.

What will you be doing in this role?
- Deep analysis of the scientific literature to index biomarkers’ information and pathological processes.
- Use scientific expertise to ensure that the information is properly presented and organized following Editorial policies in our Systems Biology database.
- Adhere to Content publishing schedules and quality standards.
- Maintain and develop scientific knowledge and skills training as required to complete work and stay current on scientific trends and developments related to the employee’s editorial responsibilities.

About the Team
- We are a global, high-performing synergistic team of 15 members including Associate content editors, Content editors, Senior content editors, Content specialists, Senior content specialists, and Principal content specialists making up the Systems Biology team.
- Our flagship database is MetaBase, which further powers other Clarivate’s products and data services to help customers quickly and accurately analyze multi-omics data.

Hours of Work

8 hours per day (IST, full-time permanent position). Workdays - Monday to Friday
