**JOB DESCRIPTION - TECHNICIAN (1-3 Years Experience)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform microbiological tests on various specimens, including blood, urine, tissue, and other bodily fluids using aseptic techniques.
- Hands-on experience with **Elisa technique** and **COVID-19 testing protocols** (RT-PCR/antigen testing preferred).
- Prepare and maintain laboratory reagents, media, and cultures required for diagnostic and research purposes.
- Conduct routine **quality control** procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as **microscopes, centrifuges, incubators, and manual/automated analyzers**.
- Interpret, record, and report test results accurately and promptly, adhering to **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)** and quality assurance protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and lab staff to ensure correct sample collection, handling, and transportation.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records, including test results, equipment logs, and inventory tracking.
- Follow strict **safety protocols** and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.
- Stay updated with developments in microbiology and diagnostic technology through continuous learning and professional development.
- Assist in developing and validating new laboratory methods and techniques.

**Qualifications**:

- **1-3 years** of experience as a **Microbiology Technician** in a clinical, diagnostic, or hospital lab setting (manual system exposure preferred).
- Strong foundational knowledge of microbiology principles and methodologies.
- Proficient in microbiological testing, including **bacterial identification, antimicrobial susceptibility**, and **molecular diagnostics**.
- Familiarity with **COVID testing techniques** such as RT-PCR and Rapid Antigen.
- Comfortable using and maintaining standard lab instruments and tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail.
- Capable of following protocols and maintaining accuracy under pressure.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for documentation and coordination.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Knowledge of **Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)** and strict adherence to **lab safety guidelines**.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

- Rotational shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Performance bonus
