Math Teacher

**FULL-TIME, ON-SITE POSITION IN VISNAGAR, GUJARAT.**

**Requirements**:

- Expertise with Math concepts/topics at school level (ICSE & CBSE)
- Experience as a Math teacher at school level (ICSE & CBSE)
- Proficiency/fluency in English language (writing, speaking and reading)
- B.Ed. (mandatory) as per CBSE norms
- 1 to 2 years of experience with teaching ICSE and/or CBSE - Math concepts and topics
- Freshers with BSc and MSc Mathematics degree are welcome
- Acute attention to detail
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to relocate to Visnagar, Gujarat
- Basic knowledge, skills and working functionality awareness for Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong work ethic and high work quality standards
- Strong conceptual clarity in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, and Calculus (as per grade level)
- Familiarity with digital tools, smart boards, and online learning platforms
- Patience, adaptability, and a student-centric teaching approach

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Delivering interactive and student-centred lessons using a variety of teaching aids, models, and ICT tools to simplify mathematical concepts
- Designing and administering tests, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate student progress
- Providing constructive feedback to students to help them improve their mathematical concepts
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Managing student behaviour and encouraging participation through effective teaching strategies
- Encouraging logical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Guiding students in preparing forOlympiads, competitive exams, and interschool math competitions
- Fostering a positive attitude towards mathematics and reducing math anxiety
- Identifying students who need additional help and providing extra support or remedial lessons
- Offering academic and career guidance where necessary
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports
- Communicating with parents and guardians regarding student performance
- Communicating deadlines, timelines, lead times and priorities to team members
- Planning work schedules ahead of time in concurrence with team members and other leaders
