- Mumbai, Mumbai Suburban- Responsible for managing & administration of the company Payroll shared services and ensuring compliance and accuracy in monthly Payroll activities.
- Overall responsibility for payroll processing and administration.
- To validate and flag any deviation related to salary sheets, shared by third party payroll vendor based on inputs shared.
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records.
- Ensuring timelines are met for salary disbursement and statutory compliance - Maintaining and updating payroll information and resolve discrepancies,
- Co-ordinating with functional departments and ensuring exit processes and employee F&F settlements are processed on time. - Process payroll taxes and payment of employee benefits.
- Review of investment declarations submitted on year-ends by employees and ensure employment/income taxes are calculated accurately.
- Ensure employee on-boarding/ registration on regulatory portals on time.
- Ensure timely registrations on applicable regulatory portals on time.
- Ensuring employee compliances by following policies and procedures
- Co-ordination with consultants to ensure all employment related returns are prepared and filed on a timely basis
- Ensuring timely accrual and payment of employee benefits including employee reimbursements as per rules and regulations of income tax
- Completes payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review

**Specifications (Skills & Competencies)**
- Good knowledge of employment legislation & statutory requirements
- Excellent excel and data management skills
- Understanding of labor laws and compliances as applicable.
- Working knowledge of Income tax
- Must have excellent communication & presentation skills, a pleasant personality, and an analytical blend of mind.
