Job Description: Pump Operator for Chemical Division
Position Title: Pump Operator
Location: Karaikal

Key Responsibilities:
1. Shift Operations:
Work in a team of four operators across three shifts (A, B & C) in an electrochemical process plant.
Maintain various operational parameters as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in the Cell Hall, pumping area, process area, and scrubbing area.
2. Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
Operate and maintain various chemical pumps, filter presses, heat exchangers, and cooling towers.
Perform routine checks and maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
3. Downtime Reduction:
Implement strategies to reduce process downtime.
Report any operational issues promptly to the shift incharge for timely resolution.
4. Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations around the factory.
5. Work Instructions:
Follow the work instructions provided by the shift incharge.
Assist in executing any additional tasks as directed by the shift incharge.
6. Reporting:
Prepare and submit daily operation reports to the shift incharge.
Maintain accurate records of operational parameters and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
Education: ITI & Diploma (any trade)
Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in pump operations or related fields.
