GPR Operator (Ground-Penetrating Radar) - Field Survey/Geospatial

Key Responsibilities
- Operate GPR equipment to perform subsurface scanning (utilities, concrete slabs, underground structures).
- Set up equipment, calibrate sensors, ensure data quality in the field.
- Collect data, process and interpret GPR radargrams to identify features like voids, cables, rebar, conduits.
- Mark or map identified subsurface features on site, create reports/drawings.
- Travel to survey sites, often outdoor/un-structured environments.
- Coordinate with survey team, engineers or project managers for field work planning and execution.
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot field issues, ensure proper safety/compliance protocols.

Required / Preferred Qualifications & Skills

**Essential**
- High school pass or Diploma; ideally a Bachelor’s degree (in Surveying, Civil, Geomatics, Geophysics) would be preferred.
- Some field survey experience (GPR, utility locating, geophysical methods or surveying). For similar roles at this company, 1-3 years of experience is often cited. Glassdoor+1
- Comfort working outdoors, travel-ready and physically able (moving equipment, working uneven terrain).
- Basic data processing skills, ability to learn GPR software/tools.
- Strong attention to detail, good analytical/interpretation skills.
- Good communication (field team, project managers) and ability to work independently.

**Desirable**
- Specific experience with GPR systems (such as utilities, concrete scanning) and subsurface utility engineering.
- Experience with DGPS, Total Station, aerial/done surveying (since the company also does these) - this would be an advantage. Indeed India
- Certification in GPR or non-destructive testing (NDT) or surveying instrumentation.
- Knowledge of software like AutoCAD, GIS, mapping tools, data visualisation.
- Licence or training for drone/remote surveys if project demands.

What to Highlight in Application.

- Any survey instrumentation experience (DGPS, Total Station, drones) is a plus.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
