**Job Purpose**:
To perform setup and changeover operations on CNC turning and milling machines, ensuring accurate part production as per the drawing specifications and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Machine Setup**:

- Set up CNC turning and milling machines according to job cards and engineering drawings.
- Install and align tools, fixtures, and components.
- Input or recall programs and verify proper functioning before production.
- **Program Handling**:

- Understand and edit basic G-code/M-code as per machine requirements.
- Load CNC programs and adjust machine parameters as needed.
- **First Part Approval**:

- Perform initial sample inspection using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, Height Gauge, etc.).
- Ensure first part matches required tolerances and dimensions.
- **Tool Management**:

- Select, inspect, and replace tools to maintain part accuracy.
- Monitor tool life and report worn-out tools.
- **Troubleshooting**:

- Identify and resolve basic issues during machining (tool wear, offset errors, etc.).
- Escalate major technical issues to maintenance or engineering team.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish of components.
- Ensure zero rework or rejection from machine setup side.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain daily production and setup records.
- Update tool setting sheets and job changeover logs.
- **Maintenance Support**:

- Perform minor preventive maintenance on machines.
- Keep machine and work area clean and organized (5S implementation).

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Machining / Production
- 2-5 years of experience in CNC Turning & Milling setup
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (2D/3D)
- Basic knowledge of machining parameters

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
