Yarn Sourcing

_We seek an adept Procurement - Yarn Sourcing to oversee our company's procurement of products and services. This role entails crafting strategies to secure cost-efficient deals and reliable suppliers. The Procurement - Yarn Sourcing is tasked with identifying avenues to reduce procurement costs, allowing the company to allocate resources towards growth and personnel development._

**Responsibilities**
- Supplier Identification & Evaluation: Research and identify potential yarn suppliers and manufacturers.
- Sourcing & Procurement: Negotiate and procure yarn in line with production needs, quality standards, and cost-efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure yarn quality meets the required standards for the specific end products.
- Cost Management: Monitor yarn pricing trends and negotiate favorable terms for bulk purchases.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate yarn stock levels to ensure uninterrupted production while avoiding overstock.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate timely delivery of yarn orders and manage transportation/logistics to ensure adherence to schedules.
- Market Research: Stay updated on yarn industry trends, new yarn types, and competitor activities to optimize sourcing strategies.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure the best deals and foster long-term partnerships.

**Requirements and Skills**:

- Education: Degree in Textile Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
- Experience: 2-5 years in yarn sourcing, procurement, or related roles in the têxtile industry.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in inventory management and sourcing tools.
- Knowledge of global yarn markets, types of yarn (e.g., cotton, wool, synthetic), and sustainable sourcing practices.
- Experience in supplier audits and quality control.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
