**Position Overview**: The PGT Psychology Teacher at Gurukul The School plays a vital role in shaping students' understanding of psychological concepts and principles. This position requires a dynamic educator who can create an engaging learning environment, foster critical thinking, and support the emotional and academic growth of students in grades 11 and 12.

**Key Responsibilities:

- **Curriculum Development**: Design and implement engaging lesson plans and curriculum that align with the educational standards and the school’s ethos.
- **Instructional Delivery**: Teach Psychology to students in grades 11 and 12, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles.
- **Student Assessment**: Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
- **Classroom Management**: Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and collaboration.
- **Mentoring**: Provide academic and emotional support to students, guiding them in their personal and academic development.
- **Parental Engagement**: Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and any areas for improvement, fostering a strong home-school connection.
- **Professional Development**: Stay updated with the latest developments in Psychology and educational practices, participating in workshops and training as required.

**Qualifications:

- **Education**: A Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field from a recognized institution.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary or higher secondary level, preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- **Skills**: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools for teaching.
