Research Associate-MSME: Job Description

Educational Qualifications: The aspirant must be a Post Graduate in Management/Economics/Statistics/Data Analytics or Graduate in the mentioned fields with minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.

Job profile:
The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
Committees related work
- Follow-up of all work related to Committees assigned
- Providing information of previous years’ initiatives by the committee and pending tasks
- Suggesting event topics for committees, preparing minutes of meetings and annual report preparation of committees’ work
- Data compilation of target audience for committee events
- Event Logistics follow-up with Admin. Dept.
- Content support to Chairmen and Office Bearers such as speeches, talking points, background information, data and history of previous initiatives by GCCI
- Preparation of press notes and reports for bulletin and social media

MSME Helpdesk related co-ordination
- Creating awareness about the Helpdesk and its services amongst MSMEs
- Providing guidance and information to visitors at the GCCI-BOB MSME Helpdesk
- Keeping a record of the queries received from visitors and analysis of the same

Research Related work
- To study various policies related to trade and industry and providing information inputs to the working committees as needed
- To provide statistical data and quality information to Office Bearers, members and regional associations as required
- To prepare short papers and reports on relevant topics for further submission to authorities or for reference of members
- To contribute in conducting applied research of various industry sectors with focus on Gujarat and prepare outlook reports containing details of current scenario and suggestions for future development.

Key skills:

- Excellent communication skills in English and Gujarati are a must
- Good drafting skills in English and Gujarati
- Excellent command over MS Office with complete knowledge of advanced functions
- Knowledge of Statistical Analysis Tools/Software will be a plus.

Job Timings:
The job timings shall be from 11 AM to 7 PM from Monday till Saturday (6 days a week).

**Salary**: ₹13,727.82 - ₹36,122.23 per month
