**Role Overview**

***As a senior QA automation Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design and develop automation F/Ws, tools and CI/CD workflows, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the integration platform (TIBCO Cloud Integration). You are a self-driven, enthusiastic engineer with a continuous learning mindset, a passion for technology, and a can-do positive/proactive attitude Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential. You will take on a critical technical role in the creation of several crucial components that make up our signature offering. Your expertise and dedication will be integral to the success of our product.

**Responsibilities**
- Create efficient Automation F/Ws, maintain existing F/Ws & tools and automate workflows to be part of CI/CD supporting development through testing and staging deployments
- Write detailed documentation for all the F/W and tools.
- Mentor QA teams and other juniors in the team
- Analyse, troubleshoot and fix failures and issues in "build - test - deploy" CI/CD pipelines
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes as much as possible to make release processes more efficient. Also integrate all the touch points in the QA process like integrating automated test results with test specs and generating reports.
- Communicate and collaborate with a co-located and distributed team of architects, developers, QA engineers to resolve issues and provide status updates
- Follow best practices in areas like security, performance and cost efficiency when working on developing the workflows.

**Job Requirements/Qualifications**
- Minimum BS in Computer Science orSoftware Engineering with 6+ years of industry experience in QA and automation area.
- Good understanding of S/W development cycle and some experience with QA testing and mindset
- Strong working knowledge in Python, Shell scripting, Java Scripting and at least one programming language, Java/C/C+
- Strong experience designing and implementing UI automation and F/W using at-least one of the tools like Protractor, Selenium, Playwright etc and also test F/Ws like Jasmine, Cucumber etc
- Strong experience designing and implementing API automation and F/W like RestAssured
- Experience with technologies like REST APIs, Web services, NodeJS, Docker
- Experience with virtualisation, LXC and container technologies like Docker
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins, TeamCity
- Experience working on UNIX & MAC systems
- Good to have some experience in Cloud technologies eg: AWS, Kubernetes, K8s and Helm Deployment
- Experience in working with remote teams and cross functional teams
- Experience with Git version control system and JIRA bug tracking system
- Experience with Agile / SCRUM process
