**Position: Packing Expert**
**Qualification: Any Graduate (preferable Textile)**
**Experience: 3-5 years**
**Reporting to: Manager-SCM**
**Location: Boisar**
**Skills Required**:
- Strong knowledge of packaging processes, materials, and equipment.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Should be good team member.
- Should have problem solving skills.
- Proficient in using computer operation (MS office, ERP & SAP) with advance excel commands.
- Oversee the daily operations of the packing department.
- Coordinate and monitor the packing processes to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all packing activities.
- Ensure all products are packed according to company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of the packing process to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to resolve any packing-related issues.
- Monitor and manage packing materials inventory, ensuring sufficient stock levels.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment of packing materials.
- Maintain accurate records of packaging materials used and inventory levels.
- Identify areas for improvement within the packing department and implement best practices.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles to optimize packing processes and reduce waste.
- Maintain detailed records of packing activities, including daily reports and logs.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to the Production Manager on packing department performance.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards.
