Job Summary:
The Cath Lab Nurse is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. This role involves assisting in procedures, monitoring patients’ vitals, administering medications, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Procedure Care:
Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and other related procedures, including obtaining patient history, ensuring informed consent, and conducting pre-procedure assessments.

Administer prescribed pre-procedure medications.

Intra-Procedure Support:
Assist the physician during diagnostic and interventional procedures, such as angiograms, angioplasties, and pacemaker insertions.

Monitor patients' vital signs, ECG, and other parameters during procedures.

Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment as required.

Post-Procedure Care:
Monitor patients for complications post-procedure and provide appropriate interventions if necessary.

Educate patients and families on post-procedure care, including medications and activity restrictions.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures, medication administration, and patient progress in accordance with hospital protocols.

Report any complications or unexpected events to the cath lab supervisor or physician.

Equipment and Environment Maintenance:
Ensure proper functioning of cath lab equipment and report any malfunctions for repair.

Maintain a clean and sterile environment to minimize infection risk.

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Pay: ₹18,800.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Rotational shift

- Overtime pay
