An insurance sales job involves selling insurance policies to clients, and helping them choose the right coverage. Insurance sales representatives and agents may also help clients with claims. Responsibilities
- **Understand client needs**: Determine clients' financial situations, goals, and current coverage
- **Recommend insurance products**: Explain insurance policies and products, and suggest modifications to existing policies
- **Build relationships**: Maintain relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- **Sell insurance**: Negotiate and buy coverage to fit clients' needs
- **Process claims**: Assist clients with the insurance claims process
- **Prepare reports**: Maintain records and prepare reports
- **Design marketing strategies**: Develop base for long-term sources of clients
