Job Specification: Engineer (Backend Developer)

Education & Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or in a relevant stream.

Experience
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in software development with Java/J2EE technologies.
- Good knowledge/Experience on Spring Boot, Spring Cloud environment.
- Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Ajax is a plus.
- Experience in automotive industry is a plus.

**Skills**:

- Expert level skills in Java Programming.
- Experience in Golang
- Experience on MVC based frameworks like Struts/Spring MVC.
- Experience on Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.
- Experience on Microservice architecture.
- Experience on REST or SOAP based web services.
- Good knowledge/Experience on SOA based/integration platform is plus.
- Good knowledge on Software Configuration Management practices.
- Experience with Version Control systems like SVN, Clear case etc

Job Responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of the REST/SOAP based web services.
- Coding and debugging.
- Produce and maintain well-documented code.
- Issue tracking, analysis and reporting.
- Perform code reviews.
- Perform unit testing.
- Mentor new/inexperienced developers.
