Associate, Business Analytics

**Description**:
Associate, Business Analytics, is part of the Conferences Business Analytics team at Gartner. This role will partner with the broader Conference team to support driving high quality activities through data driven analysis. This role will focus on enhancing and enriching exhibitor prospecting to drive new opportunities for increasing revenue.

**Responsibilities**:
Work alongside the Analytics team to understand business objectives and create best-in-class solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness throughout the business. The solutions built will have direct impact on increasing exhibitor and attendee revenue.
- Leverage python for web scraping for a variety of data sources.
- Leverage a variety of data sources to create a strategic scoring system to prioritize and qualify data.
- Build complex data model to effectively scale PowerBI reporting across the business.
- Collaborate with several teams like Operations and Sales to ensure quality of data.
- Work on analysis to draw insights that drive the business
- Manage relationships with stakeholders and work cross-functionally with internal teams

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field. MBA preferred
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Hands on experience in Python specifically in the realm of web scraping.
- Experience with PowerBI reporting or related platforms,
- Experience working with T-SQL or other SQL languages to query and build views / data models.
- Data-driven, problem solving and analytical mindset
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and manipulate large data models.
- Strong ability to condense complex concepts and analysis into clear and concise reporting that drives action.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
