**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Fabric Sourcing**: Identify and liaise with fabric suppliers and manufacturers to source quality materials at competitive prices.
- **Vendor Management**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with fabric suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and resolving any supply issues.
- **Order Management**: Raise purchase orders, monitor order status, and ensure the fabric is delivered on time as per production schedules.
- **Quality Control**: Coordinate fabric testing and quality checks before procurement to ensure compliance with Arbour Clothing's quality standards.
- **Market Trend Analysis**: Keep track of market trends, new fabric developments, and pricing fluctuations to advise the team on strategic sourcing.
- **Inventory Coordination**: Collaborate with the production and inventory teams to manage stock levels, ensuring that there is always adequate fabric for production runs.
- **Cost Negotiation**: Negotiate fabric prices and payment terms with suppliers to ensure the best deals without compromising on quality.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate documentation related to purchase orders, invoices, and supplier contracts.
- **Sustainability Practices**: Explore sustainable fabric options and integrate them into Arbour Clothing's product lines wherever feasible.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure that the fabric procured meets design and technical specifications.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 4 years of experience in fabric merchandising, preferably in the apparel industry.
- Strong knowledge of different types of fabrics, weaving techniques, and fabric quality standards.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, to manage orders, track deliveries, and maintain records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willingness to travel to visit suppliers and fabric mills as required.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in the têxtile industry with a focus on T-shirts and casual wear.
- Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly fabric options.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
