We are looking to hire a Deputy Manager (**Record to Report**) for a Leading ITES Company in Chennai.

**Responsibilities**:
**General Accounting**
- Preparation & Posting of Journal Entries
- Working knowledge of allocations, accruals, GL adjustments, etc
- Good knowledge of inter-company accounting / reconciliations
- Meeting SLA
- Dashboard Reports
- Handling Client Calls
- Handling Escalation process
- Measuring KPIs
- Quality Initiatives

1) Prepares various monthly accrual schedules which include, but are not limited to, the property tax accruals, workers compensation and garage accruals and vacation accrual.

2) Prepare and book various monthly close entries.

3) Perform** cash reconciliations.**

4) Reconcile **balance sheet accounts**, including the** intercompany account,** monthly to ensure transactions are accurately recorded.

5) Responsible for maintaining lease accounting records in KARs lease accounting software

6) Prepare accounting entries for a recently acquired business

7) Owns the delegation of authority process which is used by AP to determine approval limits for all BUs within KAR.

8) Complete various projects and research during the month as requested by the Director of Internal Reporting or Corporate Controller and other departments.

9) Using knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley laws and compliance, coordinate the controls in place in corporate finance and ensure they are adhered to.

10) Provide corporate departments and explanation of significant variances on monthly financials.

11) Require explanation for plans to mitigate variances.

12) Prepare all accounting schedules as requested by the business.

**Experience**:
**5 to 6 years in relevant F&A operations (BPO experience will be an advantage)**

**Qualification**:
Commerce Graduate, Post Graduate(ICWA/ CA/ICFA/MBA with relevant experience)
