**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Interprets client needs and use case scenarios, translates needs into differentiating and innovative SAP offering architecture, and provides a long-term roadmap. Discusses requirements with Offering development, sales teams and updates requirements to reflect feedback. Ensures SAP offering architecture and design is optimized for digital discovery, consumption, and extensibility. Sets direction for SAP architecture roadmap, sales, and marketing to support go-to-market strategies.
- Analyzes the current SAP architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvement such as enhancing business processes, expanding capacity, reducing time & cost by introducing automation, and increasing overall effectiveness. Acts as an arbitrator, as needed, to bring the appropriate parties together to drive discussions to decisions in a timely manner.
- Analyzes technology industry, market trends and impact of SaaS/Cloud and determines the potential impact on the enterprise. Maintains relationship with SAP ecosystem vendors and maintains tools roadmaps. Facilitates the evaluation and selection of software product standards.
- Owns architecture strategy for SAP migration and modernization offering portfolio within a market segment. Participate in technical architecture review meetings to approve SAP architecture designs, tools, and technology. Provide directions to enterprise architects for adopting latest technology in line with market demand.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Demonstrates well rounded technology experience/exposure - Java, Microsoft, Open Source, CA, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- o Proven ability to develop detailed solution designs. Understands architecture constructs and patterns, protocols such as SOAP, REST etc., development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Strong experience in architecting SAP solutions: SAP, SAP ERP/ECC, SAP BO/BW, SAP HANA, Business Objects, SAP NetWeaver with specific emphasis on PI, BI, Master Data Management and SAP Mobility.
- Professional mastery and knowledge related to translating customer needs and buying preferences, market trends and technology capabilities and competitive insights into segment strategy and offering design requirements and executing on that vision throughout the offering life cycle.
