**Job Position: Master Scheduling Supervisor**

**JOB PURPOSE**: To develop and manage a facility / product group master scheduling process and ensure all customer needs are met in a timely and cost-conscious manner. Responsible for key supply chain performance indicators across velocity and order-to-delivery.

**JOB DUTIES**:

- To manage Facility Master Scheduling process.
- Reports to Facility Supply Chain Planning Manager.
- His Direct Reports include Production Schedulers, Scheduling Analysts and Order Analysts.
- Gathers forecast and constrained Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) data, and analyses information to develop a valid production plan and an achievable master schedule for the facility.
- Incumbent to actively supports the facility Sales and Operations Process, reporting performance to forecast, production and inventory plans in both dollars and units. Incumbent is the facility’s key resource for information related to facility cash flow and inventory turns goals.
- The incumbent assigns and works to achieve customer delivery/promise dates by setting and managing shop priorities. This position prepares and communicates the facility master schedule, after soliciting input from other functions, both inside and outside of the incumbent’s facility and / or business division.
- Incumbent works with other functions, i.e., marketing, product support, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and external business partners.
- Work with marketing/sales to develop an accurate forecast and economical inventory/customer delivery plan.
- Develop and distribute the measurements and reports necessary to monitor progress towards goals and provide a feedback loop through which decisions can be made regarding short-term scheduling.
- Responsible to develop and implement a strategy for the effective coordination of all Engineering Data Notification (EDN) initiatives and collaborates with facility supply chain planning to ensure alignment with new product introduction, engineering and product change control processes with master scheduling and capacity planning perspective.
- Operates under limited direction with input and participative direction from other staff managers.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Knowledge and understanding of 6 Sigma project management principles desired.
- CPS Functional Job Role Qualified.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- College or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience, is required.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization and communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures.
- General product knowledge.

**BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum of five years of progressively more complex supply chain experience
- Strong knowledge of material control, supply chain planning, supply chain performance, logistics, global purchasing, parts distribution, inventory control, manufacturing engineering, operations or transportation
- Demand and Orders scheduling experience required.
