Requisition ID: 31139- Job Location(s): Oragadam, INDanfoss is looking for a Warehouse executive who will be responsible to handle vendor management, transportation & customer follow-up & dispatch of material.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle and have a good understanding of basic logistics and supply chain management processes.
- Handle vendor management, transportation & customer follow-up & dispatch of material.
- Planning, tracking and monitoring high volume of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Communicate with customers, freight forwarders and other stakeholders regarding shipment.
- Create, maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
- Knowledge in Insurance claim process
- Work with various internal and external logistics partners to timely transfer and arrange the delivery of the parts to the right locations.
- Sound knowledge of sales order dispatch, bill/invoice documents & related challans.
- Analyze current inventories and procedures; suggest improvements to increase the efficiency of the supply chain and profitability for the company.
- Strategically plan Logistics, warehouse, Picking, packing, transportation, and customer services
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
- Budgeting and maintenance of freight costing
- Manage logistics services providers to ensure performance in accordance with agreed KPIs.
- Strong business understanding, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to motivate, maintain and develop an effective team

**Background & Skills**:

- Graduate / post graduate with 5-10 years relevant experience in field of Logistics preferably from manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, MS Word and E-Mails.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Working logically and systematically as per the company process.
