**Major Duties**:
- Analyzing Application Source code for potential vulnerabilities and governing the same as part of regulatory responses
- Educating development teams on secure coding practices, and integrating SAST seamlessly into the software development lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD Pipeline to proactively identify and mitigate security risks
- Analyzes possible remediation techniques using technical experience, judgment and precedents and suggest the best to developers
- Works within defined guidelines and policies
**Knowledge**:
- Requires knowledge of various programming languages (ex, Java,.Net), SAST tools like Checkmarx or Veracode, and a strong understanding of security principles and vulnerabilities.
- Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
- Able to explain complex information to developers in straightforward situations
- Cyber security and project management
