**Credit Research/Modeling - Buy side**
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveillance on existing corporate credit exposures and ensure regular updates of financial models, incorporating relevant market and industry data.
- Generate comprehensive reports on credit exposures, providing in-depth analysis and recommendations to the Fixed Income Research Team and other relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the Investment Team to assess risks and opportunities associated with existing credit investments and develop strategies to optimize portfolio performance.
- Assist in the due diligence process for new credit deals, including conducting in-depth financial analysis, modeling, and scenario testing.
- Conduct credit research on various companies, industries, and sectors to identify credit trends, potential risks, and opportunities for the investment team.
- Monitor and analyze market developments, credit rating changes, and economic indicators to identify potential impacts on the credit portfolio.
- Assist in building and refining credit models and tools to enhance the investment decision-making process.
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations to the Fixed Income Research Team and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
**Requirements**:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit research and modeling within the financial services industry, preferably on the buy-side.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis, and data analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise in assessing credit risk, financial statement analysis, and interpreting complex financial data.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- CFA designation or active pursuit of the CFA program will be given preference.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Bloomberg, and other relevant financial analysis tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information to various audiences effectively.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
