**Senior Associate - Accounting & Compliance**

**About Us**
M/s Halbe a leading service provider of Strategic & Financial Consulting, Accounting &
Compliance Advisory, Transaction Advisory, Investment Banking, and related services.

We have a team consisting of 10 members in the Accounting Division which is based out of
Greenways Road, Chennai, India. The team is responsible for review / maintenance of books of accounts, performing regular book-keeping, track and manage compliance for Income Tax, GST,
PF, ESI, TDS and Professional Tax and provide an MIS on a periodic basis to the client so that they can take informed decisions on business matters. The work is carried out across multiple platforms such as TALLY, ZOHO Books, QuickBooks, Netsuite and Xero.

Our clients are primarily businesses which are located in India or outside India, across sectors like Technology, F&B, Learning & Development, Professional Services, D2C Brands and more.

**Job Details**
**Job Title - Senior Associate **- Accounting & Compliance

**Key Skill Sets / Education -**
- *B.Com, MBA, Semi Qualified CA,CMA (Education Completed)
- 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in Accounting & Compliance
- *Should have experience in Tally ERP9 and be willing to learn new tools.
- Should have knowledge in MS Office and basic computer knowledge.

**Job Responsibilities -**
- Understand the Scope of Work and Deliverable for each & every client.
- Coordinate with the client on documents and requirements for the work.
- Handle the clients (end to end) from document request to final delivery of work.
- Take care of the Monthly Accounting & Compliance Activities of the clients.
- Review the Books of accounts and support them in case of any discrepancies.
- Handle statutory related matters such as Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF, ESI & PT.
- Handle payroll related activities, including payroll processing.
- Coordinate with the Auditors for year end audit & Tax filing.
- Prepare MIS on a regular basis and have a discussion with the client in this regard.
- Be willing to work closely with the team and support them in work.

**Other Details -**
- This is a position that is based out of Greenways Road, Chennai.
- Work from Home is possible, based on Approval, not in the Probation Period
- Work Timings are 10am to 7pm, with flexibility provided after the Probation Period

**CTC Range

**Salary**: ₹17,500.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Yearly bonus

- Raja Annamalaipuram, Chennai - 600028, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)
